Order Processing |
There are two checkout processes
available on CraftMall.com. The first and most beneficial is
the standard CraftMall.com checkout and the
second is by using PayPal "Buy Now" buttons
for each of your products. Let's take a look
at each checkout process in more detail:
Standard
CraftMall.com Checkout
This checkout process is the most
beneficial as it allows customers to
purchase multiple products with any
combination of product options as well as be
able to purchase products from multiple
crafters in a single checkout process.
What you will need in order to use
this checkout process for your products:
- Your own credit card machine for
manual entry of customer's billing
information.
Or
- A web terminal such as PayPal's
Virtual Terminal for manual entry of
customer's billing information.
Checkout scenario:
The customer is able to add products that
use this checkout process to their shopping
cart. When the customer is ready to purchase
the products, they proceed to checkout. Once
the checkout process is completed, an
automated email is sent to each crafter
who's product was purchased. The email
contains such information as the name and
address of the customer and which products
were purchased.
Note: The email will not contain the
customer's billing information. You have to
login to your secure administration area to
retrieve such information. The login process
is described below.
Order processing scenario:
Once you receive an email notifying you that
you have received an order, you need to
login to your crafter administration account
at:
https://www.craftmall.com/crafters/ with
your username and password. Once logged in,
click on "New Orders" under "My Orders". For

PayPal
"Buy Now" buttons
PayPal "Buy Now" buttons are for those
who use PayPal exclusively for accepting
credit card payments but who do not wish to
upgrade their account and use PayPal's
Virtual Terminal.
It is important to note that there are
some limitations with using this process.
The biggest limitation being that you have
to setup a PayPal "Buy Now" button for each
of your products. Also, customers can only
purchase one of your products with one
product option at a time.
What you will need in order to use
this checkout process for your products:
- A Premier or Business PayPal account
Checkout scenario:
The customer clicks on your PayPal "Buy
Now" button and is directed to an ordering
page on PayPal's server. The customer
completes the checkout process on PayPal.
Once the checkout process is completed, an
automated email is sent (from PayPal)
notifying you that a purchase has been made.
Order processing scenario:
There are no billing details to process
as the money is automatically deposited into
your PayPal account. After receiving your
order confirmation email from PayPal, you
simply ship the product as usual.
