To access the "Detailed Images" feature, click on "Modify product" and use the "Search products" interface to find and list your product. In the "Search results" display, select the product that you wish to modify and click the "Modify" button. On the "Modify product" page for your selected product, scroll down to the "Detailed Images" section.

Steps for adding a detailed image:

To add a detailed image, press the "Browse" button to open the image selection window.

A new window (Image selection) is opened with a total of three options. The first option allows you to select an image that is already on our server if you had previously uploaded an image to your "Files" area. The second option allows you to choose an image on your computer and the third option allows you to specify a URL of an image on another server.

In most cases, you will be choosing an image that resides on your computer so click the "Browse" button under "File on your local computer".

After clicking the "Browse" button, your Operating Systems' native file browser opens. In this example, we are using Windows XP so use the proper method according to your particular OS. Browse to the location of your image, click to highlight the image and press the "open" button.

Note: The image must be in either GIF or JPG format. Make sure that there are no illegal characters such as an apostrophe in your image file names When preparing your files (on your local computer) for upload, always save them with file names that contain no spaces.

The image location has now been added to the "File on your local computer" field. Now, press the "Apply" button.

After pressing the "Apply" button in the "Image selection" window, the window automatically closes. The image that you selected is now displayed as a preview thumbnail. To upload the image and complete the process, press the "Upload" button.

The image has now been successfully added as a "detail image" to your product page.

If you wish to add an ALT tag (text displayed when a customer's mouse pointer is hovered over the image), to your image (recommended), you may do so by typing in the text that you wish to have displayed into the "Alternative text" field and press the "Update" button.

You can also disable the image by selecting "Disabled" from the "Availability" dropdown box and pressing the "Update" button. Changing a detailed image to "Disabled" will remove the detailed image from your product page without actually deleting it. When you want to display it again, you can select "Enabled" from the "Availability" dropdown and press the "Update" button.

Lastly, if you wish to delete a detailed image, press the "Delete" button next to the detailed image that you wish to delete.
