The "Countries/Tax" area allows you to define
sales tax for different countries. Country
specific sales tax is only applied to orders
shipped to the countries within the
"Countries/Tax" area that have a sales
tax amount or percentage defined for them.

optional and is most often unnecessary for most
crafters. |

To access the "Countries/Tax" area, click on the left side "Countries/Tax" link
under "Inventory".
Or you can click the "Countries/Tax" icon on
the main page of your personal administration
area.
Defining sales tax amounts for different
countries:
Enter the sales tax amount and/or percentage
for the country where you need to add the
additional charge.
The "Tax(flat)" field is for a flat
dollar amount whereas the "Tax(%)" field
is for a percentage value. Once a value has been
entered into either field for any of the
countries, press the "Update" button at the
bottom of the page to complete the update.
If both the sales tax amount and the
percentage value are zero then there will be no
country specific sales tax charges added to the
customer's total during checkout.
